These Standard Terms and Conditions written on this webpage shall manage your use of our website, www.cabraghlodge.ie accessible at https://www.cabraghlodge.ie/ and any individual bookings for our Retreats and Events and Commercial bookings for venue hire.
These Terms and conditions will be applied fully and affect your use of this Website and all bookings. By using this Website, and paying a deposit, you agreed to accept all terms and conditions written in here. You must not use this Website or make a booking if you disagree with any of these Standard Terms and Conditions.
Minors or people below 18 years old are not allowed to use this Website.
For residential retreats, participants may be required to complete an application form before their place is confirmed. The application helps us understand participants’ previous experience, individual requirements and suitability for the retreat. Where appropriate, we may contact an applicant to discuss their needs before confirming their place.
Unless otherwise stated in the specific retreat or event information, a 20% deposit is required to secure your booking and the remaining balance is due a minimum of 30 days before the start date. Where different payment or cancellation terms apply to a particular retreat or event, these will be clearly stated in the relevant retreat or event information and will apply to that booking.
Payment for the Gong Meditation evening is 100% at the time of booking.
Payments via PayPal will incur a 3% service charge.
Participants attending a silent retreat are expected to respect the retreat structure, including the practice of noble silence, scheduled practice periods and guidelines relating to digital devices and respectful participation. Further information is provided in the retreat information materials.
Cabragh Lodge cannot accept liability for cancellations, delays or changes caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, severe weather, war or threat of war, civil unrest, industrial action, government restrictions, public health emergencies or other unforeseen circumstances that make it impossible or impractical to deliver the event or retreat as planned.
Cabragh Lodge reserves the right to change prices and dates where necessary. We will provide participants with as much notice as reasonably possible of any significant changes.
Participants are responsible for informing Cabragh Lodge of any relevant health, mobility, dietary or other requirements before attending. Retreats are not a substitute for medical, psychological or therapeutic treatment, and participants should seek appropriate professional advice where necessary.
Where a scheduled teacher or facilitator is unavailable, we will make every reasonable effort to provide a replacement facilitator of appropriate experience and professional standard.
Participants attending Cabragh Lodge in-person retreats or events are advised to have appropriate travel, cancellation and medical insurance in place before travelling.
We may invite participants to provide feedback about their experience. Where you give permission for your feedback to be used publicly, we may use it as a testimonial or in promotional materials on the Cabragh Lodge website and other Cabragh Lodge promotional channels.
